I'm new here. What should
I expect on Sunday MOrning?
Where do I park?
We have parking lot entrances from Little Britain Road South and Balance Meeting Road. Our parking lots are spacious and easy to navigate. Once you park, make your way to the Main Entrance glass doors. Once inside, our Guest Services team can show you where to find the sanctuary, nursery, restrooms, or Kid-Min check-in.
What should I wear?
There's no "dress code" at Wrightsdale, so wear what feels comfortable to you. We're just glad you're here. You will see some people in dress clothes, and other people in 'business casual', but most of our people dress casual. Almost every Sunday, Pastor Ryan Day is wearing jeans in the pulpit. There's no "fashion police" here, because we're just regular people like you.
WHAT about my kids?
We offer nursery-care every single Sunday for infants to age 4 during our 9AM Sunday School and 10AM Morning Worship. Nursing moms are most welcome. All of our nursery staff are trained and have received a background check.

For children Age 3 (potty trained) through 5th Grade, we offer a fantastic Kid-Min program on Sundays at 10AM called "Wayfinderz" (1st-5th grade) and "Wayfinderz JR" (PreK-Kindergarten) where your kids will experience an exciting and engaging worship service designed specifically for preschool and elementary school kids. Wayfinderz features music, singing, activities, experiments, small groups, skits, and memorable characters! Believe us, your kids will love Wayfinderz from the first minute.

WHAT about my teens?
In addition to weekly Sunday School classes for all students at 9AM Sundays (PreK-12th Grade), we also offer our WBC Youth Group (6th-12th Grade) on Sunday nights at 6PM, led by our Next-Gen Pastor Jared Carline and other youth leaders. We have a growing Youth Group of about 30+ students who meet every Sunday night for games, snacks, Bible study, friendships, and planned activities throughout the year. All of our children/youth leaders have received a background check.
Which Bible translation?
Pastor Ryan Day teaches most often from the New King James Version, which is a trusted, accurate English translation of the Bible that is readable and accessible to everyday people. Many of our church people also use the New International Version (NIV), English Standard Version (ESV), or the Christian Standard Bible (CSB). In addition to print Bibles, many people use the popular YouVersion Bible app on Sundays that is available for free in all app stores. The best Bible translation is the one you will read regularly and apply to your life!
What about music and worship?
Our Sunday morning worship service lasts about 75 minutes total, beginning at 10AM. Our service features contemporary worship music with live musicians, instruments, and vocalists. In addition to prayer, Bible reading, and expository preaching, our service always blends classic hymns and congregational singing. God has blessed His people with a rich tradition of music that upholds biblical truth and honors His name, so we seek to incorporate the best of the old with the best of the new in a blended style of worship.
What is a southern baptist church?
Don't worry. You don't have to talk with a southern accent or enjoy sweet tea to attend church at Wrightsdale. We belong to a national convention of churches called the "Southern Baptist Convention", which is a friendly fellowship of nearly 50,000 churches across the United States. The SBC is a collection of like-minded churches working in cooperation with one another to impact the whole world with the good news of Jesus Christ. You can learn more about the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) by clicking here.
Can I get a coffee?
The coffee is on us! If you arrive on Sunday by 8:30am, stop by our beautiful HeBrews Cafe and enjoy some delicious coffee and sweet treats that are there every week. Many of our folks love to visit HeBrews Cafe to grab some refreshments and connect with a community of friends prior to Sunday School at 9AM.
Our approach to ministry is simple: meet people right where they are and equip them to BE JESUS, SHARE JESUS, and LOVE LIKE JESUS. Our hope is that you and your family can meet Jesus, embrace His life-transforming salvation, and experience a life filled with new meaning and purpose. If you are looking for opportunities to grow and serve, we invite you to join with us.
